Hi
I've got a problem with rlogin. Maybe I missed earlier articels on this subject.
There is no problem logging in at the Linux machine from any workstation in the
network as user, wel as root.
When I try to login from the Linux PC in a server etc I get the following:
as root: nothing at all or read I/O error
as user: rcmd: socket: permission denied.
I checked all the file attributes and they seem to be alright. Making rlogin set uid has no
affect accept that I won't get the error message and I get the
prompt from the Linux machine.
When I'am logged on the Linux pc as root and use than "rlogin -l username Linux pc" it work
s but thats not really what I need. I'll have to get it working by
tomorrow. I'll be greatful for any hints or solutions. Thanks.
Tina
