I have a few questions reagarding the setup of LINUX on a notebook
computer.

1. Has anyone got X386 to give grey-scale support? I can get X386_Mono
running just fine, but it would be nice to get grey-scale support.
I've tried the most obvious definitions in my Xconfig file, but I end
up with problems in not having the correct video card.

2. My computer has a built in trackball, which works well, but I would
also like to use an external mouse. I have a PS/2 mouse port in back,
and tried all combinations of

Logitech ttys*
Microsoft ttyp*
ps/2 *mouse*

But had no luck getting the external mouse to be recognized. Is there
something obvious I'm missing here?

the computer: CompuAdd 486slc, with cirrus video (I think) it is the
425cxl model. When I run MSD, to find out about the video, I get XGA
type.
