I have *partially* got this to work. I guessed that for some reason login or
getty was broken, since last shows that SLS 1.0x doesn't notice when users
log out; it seems to think that they stay logged on until the machine goes
down.
Anyway, I got the poeigl-1.20.tar.gz sources from tx11, and compiled the
versions of login and so on in that. Hey presto! Finger now returns the
correct answer, although last still doesn't notice logouts, so if anyone
can fix that I'd be grateful.
The other problem is that I can't get poeigl to compile with -DSHADOW_PWD and
the appropriat -l stuff set in the makefile... it complains about a number
of undefined symbols. Anyone got this to compile with shadow password support?
