I am also thinking about buying a 4HD IDE controller to use with Linux but have
found very little information. The kind of controller that is necessary to
get 4 HDs running on dos is one with a relocatable bios. Since Linux is
supposed to bypass bios, will one of these controllers work? I'm looking
at the Promise DC2032 in particular and have not been able to find it in
the March 93 hardare list. Is there a more recent one? Any advice would
be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
