There is hope, though. Look in the file stealth-fix.tar.Z (or thereabouts)
where there probably is a reverse-engineered fix. I use the analogous kludge
for my Speedstar+, and it works perfectly.
The file is at tsx-11.mit.edu, in /pub/linux/BETA (maybe).
