Check how you FTP'ed it. The kernel sources are symlinked into the SLS tree
from /pub/linux/sources/system, and tar doesn't follow symlinks by default...
using the "get SLS.tar" method leaves you with a dangling symlink in the B
series in place of the kernel source.
