Subject: X config for AST Advantage 486DX/33

Does anyone know how to get X386 to run on an AST Advantage Pro 486/DX33
under Linux? It tells me "no screens found" and it doesn't like my mouse
either.
I would greatly appreciate any information from anyone who can help.
