OK now, it seems that there is a bug in the ATI driver code. I (finally)
managed to get it to go to X-Windows after recompiling the Linux kernel to
look for IRQ 9 instead of IRQ 5, as my mouse was configured to use IRQ 2.
[I've been through this already on the SLS 1.02]
This didn't fix it though... I still got the vertical line effect. I tried
switching back the shadow ram in CMOS to what it used to be... This appeared
to fix it but after a few tries going in and out the lines came back.
Help me?
