I had some problems during the install of SLS .99pl11.
While installing the b2 disk it got to the archive emacssup and gave a
warning: emacssup....warning: you must install package xshlib.tgz to use
emacs. -> Why isn't this install correctly.
At the end of the install LILO came up with this error: Can not set up for
boot from a second hard disk partition. Is it ok to take over primary disk
partition bootstrap (y/n) -> I did not have this problem with .99pl9-1,
any ideas??
It also asked if I wished to set up my machine as a Name Server... what is
a name server and do I need to set it up? It also asked for the IP number
for name server host.. I just hit return for the default ( I hope).
And finally... I got this error:
chown usr/man/man? No such file or directory
chmod usr/man/man? No such file or directory
Am I doing something wrong here or what? All I installed was A,B,&C but am
going to install the rest of it soon.
Hopfully its nothing serious but would like some answers.
Thanks...
