From: hlab@access.digex.net (Hunter Lab) Subject: GCC Doesn't work for me HELP HELP HELP Date: 7 Aug 1993 02:19:08 -0400
I just downloaded Linux and am quite satisfied with it. In fact I
am typing this on it now. When I tried the GCC compiler to test
a little program I got back:
Warning: gcc: libc.so.4: incompatible minor version numbers
(DLL Jump 4.4pl1).
Segmentation Fault
Seems I have the wrong compiler or library or something. I downloaded
all this from a local system that had the SLS distr. on it. What should
I do? This system is nice, but useless, without a C compiler. I have
no previous version to work with. Please respond via mail if possible.
Thanks.
