Linux ports of several functional languages can be found at the anonymous ftp
site ftp.dcs.gla.ac.uk in directory /pub/linux.

The current list appears to be

        gofer Haskell-like functional language
lml-0.999.4 Chalmers LML/Haskell interpreters and compilers
        njsml.93 New Jersey SML

The Chalmers compilers are precompiled binaries and the archive is just under
2 MBytes gzipped. The Haskell interpreter is a memory pig but I have run
it successfully with 6MB core and a lot of swap (and patience) but I would
recommend having 16 Meg.
