Subject: [Q] DOS 6.0 + Linux coexist ?
Date: Thu, 5 Aug 1993 15:41:50 GMT

I have DOS 6.0 on my 1 physical IDE hard disk (220 MB, 16 MB internal, 486) and
have DblSpace-d it (works fine btw). It was fdisk-ed with DOS 5 (upgraded to 6).
Can i savely put Linux on it and have a part (say 40 MB DblSpace-d) for DOS 6 ?
Is it necessary to remove DblSpace first (quite an exercise, btw) ?
The FAQ says Stackers works fine with Linux...
Unfortunately, i have to stick partially to DOS because of some dedicated XMS
programs we use (they will definitely not run under dosemu).

Anybody did this succesfully (or not) ?
I'm asking this, because i heard that Dos 6 gave problems with Linux.

Will summarize reactions (positive AND negative) !

Bye-bye,

Eric.
