You can only use the Ultra Pro under XFree86 as a generic SVGA card. It
works quite well, if it is a little slower than what is possible, and it
only allows use of up to 1MB of VRAM.

Even though Mr. Wexelblat recently said some very unfriendly things about
Linux and its users over in comp.unix.misc, I agree that people shouldn't
use code if it hasn't been released yet and against the author's wishes.
This is private stuff, and distributing it is akin to sofware piracy. Just
wait a couple weeks for the release, and then you will have full licence to
it.
