Just an update, I compiled many different configurations of .99pl11
and the only kernels that crash are the ones with tcp/ip in them.
Crashes seem totally random to me... sometimes I don't even make
it through the full boot process, other times it takes 15 minutes or
so.

Anyone have a clue as to how I can find out more about what
is causing this?

If I messed up my network installation, could that somehow
cause these seemingly unrelated crashes?
