That's true. You do get your money's worth. Still, it sucks.

I'd bem more impressed if the Linus and the rest of developers were
more concerned getting basic things like Interrupt key processing
working, which is broken in more than just bash, and less so
with things like MS-DOS emulators, X Windows, and other toys.

After a year or so of frustrating experiences with Linux, I think
the way I voiced my opinion was, if anything, restrained.

As I'm one the apparently few people who's just a lowly user of
Linux machines, I don't have that option. However even if I were
in a position to fix things, I'd still think that an operating
system that required me to fix basic components sucks.
