I'm looking for the information about the #9GXE VLB card and XS3 server for
Linux.
I wonder if anyone can run XS3 with #9GXE VLB l.11 or 12 without any problems.
I know (from Amancio Hasty) that the cards with S3 928 with the number earlier
than 93133 hangup the server. However, it seems that this is happening only for
ISA based cards not VLB. The question is : is there anyone with the card with
S3 928 earlier than 93133 that can work with XS3 server?
I called the Number Nine technical support to find out that they do not (!)
have any card with S3 928 greater than 93133. They couldn't tell me when they
will have them.
It seems that there is a problem to find out any vendor selling S3 928 cards
with the 93133. Actix Ultra Pro is the one, but is ISA based.
Thanks for any answers and sugestions in that matter.
