'doc' as provided in the SLS X distribution is not TOO bad as a word
processor. WYSIWYG, TeX output, reasonable number of features.

Of course a 50 page document that 'latex' processes in 30s on a 486/50
takes 1m34s using doc, but at least with doc I can look at what I got.
Screen updates seem to take forever wit large docs as well. As a
painless intro to creating TeX/LaTeX docs though its worth the trouble.
