Subject: Q: e2fsck doesn't set e2fs to a sane state ?!

Hello !

I have SLS 1.01 and linux 0.99.9 (?).

On every startup mount tells me

EXT2-fs: warning: mounting unchecked filesystem, running e2fsck is
recommended

This messages appears on every mount
although I did an filesystem check.

My /etc/fstab:

/dev/sda6 / ext2 defaults
/dev/sda7 none swap defaults
/dev/sda8 /usr ext2 defaults
/dev/sda9 /home ext2 defaults
none /proc proc defaults

Can anybody tell me the reason / the solution for this.
Am I running a "dirty" fileesystem ???

What about upgrading to a new Linx version ?
Are there any problems to expect, if I do an upgrade of shared
libraries .... ?

Thanks in advance
        Andreas
