There are there (or at least they were when I last downloaded ls-lR).

Please, please, please download and search the ls-lR from the ftp archives
before posting to c.o.l. By my estimate 5% of the threads on c.o.l could
be saved this way. All I had to do was scan th file for 4.4.1 to find this.
Oh and in case you are about to claim you didn't realise that ``image''
was the binary distribution why on Earth didn't you read the release notes.
(A further 5% of c.o.l threads are started by people who can't be bothered
to read release notes).
It is not clear to me into which category this posting falls.
