Subject: HELP : X + Trident + MGC monitor -> doesn't work

I have installed MS-DOS, OS/2 and Linux together on my 4MB PC386 recently.
Everything works fine, so I plan to run X window. Unfortunately, I try all
the possibilities but it doesn't work. I have no clue since I am very new in
Linux. I would apppreciate if you can help me...

I am using a Taiwanese clone SVGA monitor (MGC. Model : CM1402). I don't have
any mannual since it was not new when I bought it. The SVGA card is Trident
8900C, so I think it is supported by Linux. The system shows me the following
error message :
