Subject: installing linux

I've a problem on the install session of linux.
My configuration is: 486dx50 with an adaptec 1542c SCSI card
and a 1.3Gb Micropolis Hard Disk with actually 4 dos partitions.

I've configured my scsi card with the default values like the
installation man says. But, when I boot with the first disk,
I've a message like:

1 Host recognised, but no mail.

Then it cut off. My version of linux is the same that travel
now in the network (SLS). If anybody can help me, please
mail me on: beule_f@epita.fr (France)

I never see anything about that problems ont the faq that I've.
