From: lbryan@sinkhole.unf.edu (Logan Bryant) Subject: Trying to recompile p11, and the Configure script breaks Date: Sun, 1 Aug 1993 09:19:17 GMT
Help! I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can't get it to go past the first
few lines of the Configure script. It gives me a make error 1, and dies.
I've tried this using the latest version of bash 3.63, and also the stock one
that comes with SLS. I'm at gcc2.4.3, and libc4.4.1. I also got the latest
make from tsx-11. (Also tried stock make from SLS.) Basically, I've tried
this with all the stuff from SLS, and all the new stuff I've gotten, and the
script just dies. Other funny stuff...sometimes I end up with the config.in
file being empty, and sometimes not. In every case, the .config (or .config~)
is empty. If I try simply /bin/bash Configure <config.in...it dies.
All I want is a little recompile!! Can someone please point out the error of
my ways?? Thanks...
