I am confused too. I just installed the newest SLS release. There is a
/dev/ttys0 but this not a device it is an ascci file.
there are no ttys1 or ttys2 , but a ttys3 with minor number 67.
So I did a :
mknod /dev/ttys1 c 4 64
mknod /dev/ttys2 c 4 65
plugged my mouse in com2: ( ttys2) and it worked.
