I make no claims of completeness, but here's my list of stuff *I* back up.
I put these in a file called 'SLSBACK' in /install/installed and backup
with sysinstall -extract SLSBACK.

I don't backup stuff like the tcp config since it's about 10 seconds work
to get tcp reinstalled. Using this stuff, I did a complete SLS install
of the new SLS1.01 (now 1.02) in something under 1.5 hours once I had the
stuff stashed on a dos partition...

Yes, I'd love a 'definitive' list too...
