I am having problems with doinstall failing.

I have 486DX-33 EISA w/ 16M
       Adaptec 1742A
       Fijitsu M2624F-512

I have an 80M DOS partition and a 412M Linux Extended (83) partion.

I use mke2fs /dev/sda2 425984
I am asked if I used mke2fs and I answer yes.

It appears to work but when I use doninstall /dev/sda2 i get the following:
EXT-fs: magic match failed
mount: Unknown error 26240
Error: can not mount /dev/sda2. Did you use: mkfs /dev/sda2 SIZE?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
