Hello linuxers,
i found nocthing about that in th FAQs I have, so I try it this way:
my harddisk has some problems (or is it the controller ?). It is a new Adaptec
1542C and a new 3.5" IBM 1.3 GB Harddisk. When booting, the adaptec sees the
drive and everzthing works fine, if i boot dos. But under linux, it reports
1 host found, it seems to recognize the disk and then i get several:
adaptec_out: xxxxxxx, but no mail received (dont remember what the x are. I'm
at school right now :)). What does this mean? I use 0.99pl9. They told me,
everythiong would work....scsi drives and adaptec 1542 are set in make config.
