Well, this is odd. I've been running 99pl9 for a few days now and I've
had no problems with tcsh 6.03. I suspect it comes down to which
libraries you are using and where you got your tcsh from. I have
version 4.3.3 libraries and the very same tcsh binary I'm using is
available at tsx-11.mit.edu, sunsite.unc.edu and nic.funet.fi as a
separate package. I can't vouch for SLS or H.J.'s bootable root disk,
though.
