I also tried to get a Speedstar 24X up and running with Linux in
1024x768 mode.
I also got the snowy screens.
I gets worse with higher clock rates (i used the DIamond-Clock-Set
program available from various FTP sites [called diamond.taz or
diamond.zip).
Haven't had the time to really try everything.
Anybody got this working ?
