I'm convinced now that there *are* indeed some other people having the
problem. It seems to be exclusive to pl7 and pl8 kernels. I'm going to try
out pl9 tomorrow. Has anyone tried this already? (someone that does have this
problem please). Did anything change with the serial dirvers between pl6 and
pl7?
