Speaking of booting, I've been working on a new boot disk based on Peters'
a1.5, but with more features. I've added the basics that I consider
essential such as "ed" and "man". And I've also have been rewritting the
install scripts to make them alittle more general and helpful. (With
features, as automatic loading of raw.written disks stored as disk files.)
However, at this point I have about 40k left. This isn't enough to replace
"ed" with something more understandable by humans, but it is enough to
include an something else someone feels is essential.
Actually, the disk is working quite well for emergencies. I accidently
did mke2fs on my primary partition yesterdays, and can still keep working.
Although, I wish my latest backup was more recent than two months ago...
