Subject: [Q] Shrinking partitions?
Date: Mon, 26 Apr 1993 16:41:00 GMT

 Hello World!

Is it possible to non-destructively shrink an ext2fs
partition (or any other filesystems)? Suppose, for
example, you are using a swapfile and, as swapping
to a file is rather slow, want to install a swap
partition. But all space on your HD is allocated
to your ext2fs partition. What do you do?

Or: You have your entire HD partitioned for Linux
and suddenly you feel the urgent need to make a trip
to the stone-age and want to re-install MS-DOS (and
of course you don't want to back up your HD because
you don't have a streamer).

Any hints will be appreciated.
