As I posted a few days ago, I want to buy a SCSI controller
on the cheap, and I've seens a Future Domain 1670 card.
Now, I've seen several reports of problems with this card
and Linux recently - so, is there anyone out there who has
actually got this card to work with Linux? (And if so, what's
   the speed like?)

I've used a Future Domain 1680 with Linux and it works just fine.
I've never measured the speed under Linux, but under OS/2 I get about
600KB/s or so. I assume the speed under Linux would be comparable.
