Subject: [Q] Could anyone teach me how to setup ftp access ?

I have just installed the SLS 1.01 in my 486 box and program 'term' in the
SUN workstation at the U inside my account. I followed the doc and use the
command 'tredir' to link between Linux and SUN workstation, eg 'tredir 4000 32'
, I could then telnet to my Linux from a remote SUN workstation, eg 'telnet
coral.micro.umn.edu 4000', it goes to my Linux ! That's nice! However, when
I tried to ftp to Linux, eg 'ftp coral.micro.umn.edu 4000', message reported
to me that services not available. I supposed that ftp access must be closed
to outside. How can I open the ftp connection ? I've search through the faq
but couldn't find the answer.
