I experienced the same exact problem after downloading the SLS 1.01
release from sunsite. The problem was using the A2 disk from SLS 1.0.
Someone graciously placed an updated copy of the A2 disk in the
/pub/Linux/Incoming directory. It has since been moved to the
/pub/Linux/SLS/a2 directory.
The "LI" is the first half of LILO. During installation you may have
noticed some complaints about files not being found when it tried to
install LILO. If I remember correctly, they were the config.h and
install???. Some libraries are out of date and other files are missing.
