Subject: Does Linux support NE-2000 ?
Date: 23 Apr 1993 11:30:12 GMT

        Hi!

I'm in the process of buying a Ethernet card for my PC (running dos &
Linux). The cheapest card I can find right now is a NE-2000 compatible.
As it's a 16-bit card, and should be well known I think is would be a
nice buy.

So, does Linux support the NE-2000 standard(?), or are there only drivers
for the WD cards? I have only seen postings of those on this group.

What I want to do, is to able to read my CD-ROM (on PC) from my IBM RT,
via Ether. I found a alpha/beta version of NFS server for Linux from a
local machine, so I hope it works...

Any comments?
