No this is not an IDE drive. If it where, I could install it as my second hard-drive, and wouldn't need a special card. However there is a linux driver for
this drive, and it is included with SLS 1.01. I already mailed Peter that
it doesn't work, but I was wrong. To activate it, press ALT after the word
"LILO" appears on your screen. Then type "ramdisk mitsumi=5,300". If you
just remember to hit ALT, the rest of the instructions will be displayed.
Since Peter forgot to mention that mitsumi has to be selected as a kernel
option, it didn't occure to me to try this at first.
