Subject: Multiple Serial Ports

I am planning on using linux under some sort of BBS system to
allow users on my machine to access internet mail/news. My
hope is to have 5 v.32bis lines available, but I am unsure
what smart/dumb multiport cards are supported by the OS.

I would appreciate any datapoints/pearls of wisdom from
others on the net concerning multiple (i.e. >4) serial
lines under linux.

p.s. Perhaps, I should have said some BBS system on top of linux?
