I often try to respond to articles by e-mail. Sometimes people appreciate my
help. Sometimes, it comes back undelivered, with "user-unknown" messages. Some
users include (usually I throw away immediately everything undelivered, it
must be about 5 or 6 users till know):

danz@mentorg.com
dje@sspiff.uucp

To the later, I wanted to e-mail bug fixes to .../src/linux/fs/locks.c,
which are too long and too anoying for c.o.l.

My question is: Am I only stupid enough (but I always use the same
procedure when answering to news), shall I try more often (and risking
to being flamed by the sysop for all my undelivered stuff), or do people
on the usenet or any other net use incomplete paths (so I sometimes
succeed to email within germany skipping the trailing .de)?
If so, could people please stop doing so, for their own and others sake?
