Subject: [Q]: Where is mconv?

Hi,

I'm looking for the program mconv mentioned in the FAQ which will translate a
PS/2 mouse protocol into a Microsoft mouse protocol. The FAQ said that the
program is located in nic.funet.fi, but I just ftped that archive and it's not
there anymore. I tried to use archie but didn't get any results either. Can
someone please send me mail and let me know where it is? Thanks.

I'm trying to get X windows working on my laptop (AST Powerexec 486SL) running
under 0.99p8A. I believe it has a PS/2 style mouse. I have /dev/mouse linked to
/dev/ps2aux and when I tested it with the mouse program with the Microsoft
mouse setting, it worked. I'm not sure how to interpret all this, but I'm going
to try out what looks like a possibility.
