Subject: tk/tcl: man pages problem
Date: 19 Apr 1993 20:11:33 GMT

Guten Tag!

After the installation of the tk/tcl package on my Linux system a little
problem occured:

The man pages from the distribution try to include a file "man.macros"
with the command ".so man.macros". Unfortunately, I did not find such
a file neither in the distribution nor between the standard groff/nroff/
troff macro packages. The man packages are readable without this "man.macros"
file but look really bad.

Where can I find this file "man.macros"? Can anybody send it to me? Is it
on some ftp server?

The tk/tcl package which I did install on my system is distributed in these
files:

        -rw-rw-r-- 1 linuxadm 8429 Mar 31 17:27 tclDiffs.tar.z
        -rw-rw-r-- 1 linuxadm 416043 Mar 30 09:44 tclDist.tar.z
        -rw-rw-r-- 1 linuxadm 232283 Mar 30 09:36 tclMan.tar.z

It seems as if they contain tk 3.2 and tcl 6.5.

Thank you in advance!
