Exactly the same problem. I can just press backspace for longer than
a few seconds and...its crashed!

Maybe it is my Cyrix 387? I have 386/33 with 64 cache, ESDI 314MB,
8MB 70ns memory + 10megs swap. Is it a kernel bug????
