Subject: Reboot problem after install!
Date: Sun, 11 Apr 1993 01:13:04 GMT

Hello netters,

Like many, I have just installed Linux using the SLS. Everything went very
well until I rebooted the machine as I was asked at the end of the
installation process.

The machine rebooted normaly with the "Loading......" line. However, when it
tried to uncompress Linux I got the following message:
Uncompressing Linux: check - work - invalid compressed data--crc error --
 System halted

I have followed all the instruction throughout the installation. I have
consulted the FAQ and haven't seen anything regarding this problem. I have
repeated the installation 3 times without success.

How can I resolve this problem?

Thank you for replying.
