Your prices for PC cards may be right, but what bugs me is that
ethernet cards for the Amiga cost me about 500DM compared to 150DM for
arcnet.
But it seems nobody has a driver for arcnet cards and since I'm not
familiar with the internals of Linux (I haven't even started with it)
I'll have to go with ethernet :-((.
