Subject: 0.99.8 paging error

I'm having a problem with paging errors using 99.8. Specifics:

    386SX@20MHz w/387
     8MB ram
      16 MB swap PARTITION
       lots of disk space
   Plain 0.99.8 w/scsi and 1542 board

Message:
Unable to handle kermel paging request at address C0000000 *
  Oops: 0000:
  EIP 0008:001607f4 *
  EFLAGS 0010206

  Pid:7, process nr:4 *
  8b 00 25 f0 00 00 00 8b 44 02 !

* addresses change each time
! I didn't think to check if this changes

The problem seems to occur when the system is in load (gcc + kermit + other)

The only big change between 0.99.7 and 0.99.8 is in mm/memory.c write_verify
(of course if you have any hope of solving this you already know what
changed. I looked but no clue)

This error _seems_ to be reproducable.

I will be away from the office for most of the week. News access but
no mail (sorry).

All help appreciated.
