This sounds very interesting, but here are two points to consider.
Packet radio is amateur radio, and there are restrictions on what may
be legally broadcast. Also, anyone can monitor the packets, so
passwords are of little use. I'd suggest dial-in for the uucp site,
and running something like kaq9 for the packet bbs. Follow-ups to
rec.radio.amateur.packet
