Gidday all,

I'm still having the same problem, but I've got new info...

1) When I boot up, I noticed that the serial info comes up as :-
   tty00 ..... (IRQ 4) ...
   tty01 ..... (IRQ 3) ...

   Shouldn't they be ttyS0 and ttyS1??

2) When I first start X and my mouse fails, I kill the server. Then I
change my Xconfig mouse setup to "Logitech "/dev/mouse"" and start X.
My mouse jumps around, and I quit X again. Then I change the Xconfig
mouse setup back to "Microsoft "/dev/mouse"" and it works fine from
then on till I next reboot...

Any clues?? Thanks in adv...
