Subject: Odd make problem .99pl7

I'm having strange problem with trying to compile/link a new kernel.
I just downloaded the sources for .99pl7. When I tried "make config" I
got the following error after answering the questions:

mv .config~ .config
make: mv: Command not found
make: *** [config] Error 127

What's the deal? I compared my previous (.99pl6) Makefile with the new
one and they're pretty much the same...
I also get this error when trying "make Image":

make: echo: Command not found
make: *** [..depend] Error 127

I know my PATH is okay and I can't figure it out.

Thanks,
Anthony
