I am trying to run X from linux, but the graphics are not working. I am using
an Oak Technologies card, and an Impression Plus monitor. I think the card
is more specifically the Oak/77 The setup should be able to run 1024x768 SVGA
Instead of the normal startup, I get a screen with blue/grey and white
alternating horizontal stripes. At the top left corner of each stripe is
an xclock box.
Any ideas? Are the Oak Tech cards supported by linux?
Oh, and the rest of the sys consists of a 386DX-40MHz,Oak/77 with 1 meg mem,
8 megs of simms...
