1. 24 hours is not nearly long enough. A lot of site (like mine) are
not on the Internet but rely on UUCP connections for news. News can
take 2 to 3 days (or longer) to reach some sites.
2. Your previous post has not made it (yet) to my site. Are you sure it
was posted correctly?
3. You will get more replies if you use a specific `Subject:' header
(like you did on this post). Don't use subjects like `Help' or
`Please read this'; no-one reads them. I scan the group automatically
for `print', `parallel' or `/dev/lp012' since I wrote the latest incarnation
of the parallel printer driver. I expect that others do similar
scanning for their areas of expertise.
