Please correct me if I'm wrong, but even if you're running LINUX, the
low-level machine crap still holds.

i.e. the PORTS still hold.

If I remember correctly the speaker is trigured through port 61h.

I'd suggest a book that deals with LOW-level stuff. I have one out
here somewhere. If anyone has more questions, please contact me, I'll
try dig it up.
